When to book
Aim to ask by Sunday, June 20, 2027
Late August and early September fill with schools and end-of-summer events. Reaching out in June or July is a good plan.
A suggestion based on roughly 8 weeks of notice, not a deadline. Nothing is booked until you confirm.
Back-to-school events
A food truck for Back to school.
Most public school systems around DC start in late August, and the first weeks pack in orientation days, open houses and PTA picnics. Teachers come back a week or two before students for planning days, and principals like to start that week with a staff lunch.
A halal truck fits school communities where families eat differently: one window, one menu that works for most of the room, and a vegetarian falafel for those who need it. For PTA picnics that double as fundraisers, ask us about give-back arrangements.

Yes. Send the school, date and a rough headcount. Families can pay for their own food or the PTA can host.
Do you have food for kids and adults?
Yes. Nuggets, tenders and fries for kids; shawarma, gyros and cheesesteaks for adults; and a vegetarian falafel.
When do schools in the area start?
Most local districts start in late August. Check your district calendar for the exact first day.
How much does it cost to book the truck?
Every event is quoted individually. Price depends on the date, location, guest count, service time, menu and whether the host covers the food or guests pay for their own. Request your date and we will send a quote.

Yes. Bella Bites serves a 100% halal menu, cooked to order on the truck.
