Thanksgiving & Friendsgiving
A food truck for Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, November 26, 2026, and much of the region takes Friday too. The week before is when offices, schools and friend groups hold their own gatherings, and that is where a food truck makes sense.
Friendsgiving has outgrown the potluck. A truck in the driveway means nobody is stuck baking at midnight, and the halal menu works for friends who usually eat around the main dish. Families who host the big meal at home sometimes want the Friday or Saturday after, when cooking again is the last thing anyone wants.
Planning tips
- Thanksgiving Day itself is confirmed case by case; the days around it are easier to book.
- Pair the truck with one or two dishes guests bring, if your group loves a potluck.
- November evenings are cold, so plan for the line near shelter.
