Summer on the block
Close the street. Open the window.
June through August is block party season: street closures, cul-de-sac cookouts, National Night Out and swim team banquets. The truck parks at the end of the block and feeds the neighborhood.

Summer Saturdays are popular. About two months ahead gives the most choice, and weekday evenings are easier to find.
A suggestion based on roughly 8 weeks of notice, not a deadline. Nothing is booked until you confirm.
Summer block parties
Neighborhood block parties are a summer tradition across DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. Closing a public street usually needs a permit from your city or county, which the organizer arranges. Many HOAs skip that by using the clubhouse lot or a common area.
National Night Out brings neighbors and local police together on an August evening. Whatever the reason, a truck solves the cookout problem: nobody mans the grill all evening, and the halal menu means every family on the street can eat.
Event ideas
Bikes and chalk in the road, music on someone’s porch, and the truck parked where the barricades go.
Neighborhood associations host the evening; the truck serves while neighbors meet local officers.
End-of-season awards at the pool, with dinner for swimmers and families from the window.

A stacked cheeseburger built for a serious appetite.

A classic jumbo hot dog, hot off the truck.

Golden, crispy and easy to grab on the go.

Hot, crisp wings ready for your favorite sauce.

Hot, crisp golden fries.

Classic funnel cake dusted with powdered sugar.
Event menus and pricing are quoted per event.
