Festival of lights
Lights up, window open.
Diwali parties run late, draw a crowd and mix several generations. A truck outside the community hall or at the end of the driveway keeps hot food coming while the sparklers come out.

Diwali weekend lines up with fall festival season, and many families pick the same Saturday. Six weeks of notice is a sensible target.
Dates close to the holiday can still be open. Ask anyway, or check short-notice booking.
Diwali
Diwali, the festival of lights, falls in October or November and is celebrated by Hindu, Sikh, Jain and many other families across Loudoun, Fairfax and Montgomery counties with lamps, sweets, fireworks and long evenings of visiting.
Our menu is street food, not Indian food, and it is 100% halal. Many Diwali hosts want a vegetarian-friendly spread. The Veggie Falafel is the dish marked vegetarian on our menu, and we can build the rest of your event menu around chicken, fries and sides. Ask us how any item is prepared.
Event ideas
Cultural associations and temples host Diwali nights with dance and music. The truck parks outside and serves between performances.
Several families on one cul-de-sac light diyas together. A truck at the curb means nobody spends the evening in the kitchen.
Teams mark the festival with a lunch outside the building, and colleagues who do not celebrate get to join in.

Marinated chicken with fresh vegetables and garlic sauce.

Chicken street tacos with onion, cilantro and lime.

Hand-breaded chicken tenders with a crisp finish.

Hot, crisp golden fries.

Warm cinnamon-sugar churros.
Event menus and pricing are quoted per event.
The Veggie Falafel is marked vegetarian on our menu. Fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and sweets are also on the truck; ask us how each is prepared so you can decide what fits your guests.
