When to book
Inside the usual lead time
The last two weekends of October are crowded with trunk-or-treats and fall festivals. Six to eight weeks ahead is the safe window; inside that, call and ask.
Dates close to the holiday can still be open. Ask anyway, or check short-notice booking.
Halloween & trunk-or-treat
This year Halloween falls on a Saturday. When the 31st is a Friday or Saturday, neighborhood parties get bigger and trunk-or-treats pile onto the same weekend; otherwise many move to the weekend before. Churches, schools and HOAs in the region use their parking lots for a well-lit version of trick-or-treating.
A truck fits that format naturally: it parks on the same lot, it brings its own lights, and parents can feed the kids before the sugar takes over. Corn dogs, nuggets and funnel cake go fast in a crowd of costumed kids.
