When to book
Aim to ask by Monday, January 11, 2027
Mid-February is usually easier to book than spring, but tournament weekends cluster. Four to five weeks ahead works for most events.
A suggestion based on roughly 5 weeks of notice, not a deadline. Nothing is booked until you confirm.
Presidents Day
A food truck for Presidents Day.
The next one falls on Monday, February 15, 2027. It sits in the middle of winter, so the events that happen are the ones built for it: indoor tournaments with a truck outside the rec center, ski-trip send-offs and a family lunch out on the Monday.
Northern Virginia has its own tie to the day: George Washington’s Mount Vernon estate sits on the Potomac in southern Fairfax County. For federal offices, Presidents Day lands near the end of a long winter stretch, which makes a team lunch the Friday before an easy lift.
Planning tips
- February weather changes quickly; we agree a backup plan with you.
- Tournament schedules shift, so tell us the busiest break times.
- For federal campuses, start the facility approval early.
