Why drop-off works here.
Kensington is a small Victorian town with a train station, a historic district and a strong volunteer streak. Its events are intimate, and food has to arrive without fuss on streets that were not built for big vehicles.
A drop-off of halal wraps, quesadillas and churros is the right size for that: a quick stop, a box handed over, and a host free to talk to neighbors.
